The Most Demanding Stone Service
Marble is calcite — beautiful but reactive. Acid etching from juice, wine, cleaning products or food leaves dull, matt marks that look like water stains but are actually surface damage. Foot traffic causes microscopic scratching that accumulates to general dullness over time.
Marble polishing is a highly skilled, multi-stage process using diamond abrasive tooling through progressive grits — removing the damaged surface layer and revealing the fresh, crystalline stone beneath.
Marble polishing cannot be done effectively with surface products. Attempted DIY typically makes the problem worse. Always get a professional assessment first.

Finishes Available

Honed — smooth, flat, matt. Slightly more forgiving of etch marks in daily use.
Satin — practical for high-traffic domestic floors where a full mirror finish would show every footprint.
